I love Springtime in Texas… I’ll never forget the first Spring after moving here and seeing all the wildflowers along the highway. It was just amazing to me, such a beautiful sight. I think maybe I look forward to it even more now, excited to see what might bloom first as I try to remember the names of all the different flowers. I’ve always felt like sometimes we spend so much time looking for the big, beautiful things, that we forget the simple things right in front of us. Like a brightly colored hillside along a heavily traveled highway. Thank goodness for the times I’m reminded that it’s ok to stop and take pictures…
